Meet The Team
Ashley Lawrence also known as “Ms. Ashie” is the owner/director of The Little Learners Lounge.
Ashley is from a little city called Rensselaer located in upstate NY. She graduated from Rensselaer High School and went onto attend college at Hudson Valley Community College where she graduated with her Associates Degree in Business Accounting. While attending college, Ashley was employed as a teacher’s assistant in various classrooms ranging from (3 months to school aged) at Stepping Stones II Daycare where she developed admiration and love for working with small children. Shortly after receiving her degree, Ashley moved onto the corporate world where she was able to utilize her degree and accounting skills as she climbed the ladder in the automotive industry. She has been a corporate controller for the past 10+ years.
Ashley is devoted to her fiance, Ehren, and together they have created a beautiful blended family dynamic. She is a mom and bonus mom to her littles; Dawson (7), Amelia (2), Azalea (1), Ehriana (10) and Everleigh (9). When her little one, Amelia, was born, the search for daycare began. It wasn’t long before Ashley realized there was a shortage in childcare options as she had called about 15 daycares in the capital district and not one had a single infant opening available! This is what created a vision for Ashley and sparked the passion under her to create and open up a childcare program of her own that she could offer to families in the community.
Head Teacher-Tanya Hoop aka "Ms. Tanya" has been a local to our community her whole life, she is from Cobleskill NY and resides in Middleburgh NY with her husband and children. She has been married to her husband Pat for 22 years. She is a mom of 4; Taylor, Patrick, Ian and Jaeson. She is a grandma to her granddaughters Blakely and Wynter. She is a very busy sports mom with her teenage children who attend Middleburgh school district. In her free time, she enjoys baking , the beach, and traveling to Ohio to spend time with her Son and his family.
